Get ready to join the men of Redeemer Church for a charged weekend of fellowship, encouragement and growth. Take advantage of this opportunity to learn and apply ongoing transformation in your Christian walk - indeed, your daily walk with Christ.
This brief, concentrated time – Friday evening through mid-afternoon Saturday (April 9-10) – is designed to do two significant things:
- Strongly integrate you into fellowship with other men at Redeemer. You will meet other men on a whole new level. You will know more men, and know them in deeper ways.
- Effectively equip you for healthy life as a Christian man. You will discover or remember how the gospel that saved you can continue to transform your life.
The Program:
The Workshop – The Gospel and Change
The gospel is the power of God for salvation. How does this power transform us to live how God created us as men to live?
The Woodshed – The Gospel and Correction
As sinners, we are in need of grace to walk out faith and repentance. How does the God in the gospel adjust our thoughts, motives and behaviors enabling us for this pursuit?
The Wellspring – The Gospel and Community
The gospel has saved us into a community. What does it look like for us as men to experience biblically masculine fellowship as leaders in this community?
Join us Friday night for worship and the initial session with Robin Boisvert, guest speaker from Covenant Life Church, Gaithersburg, Md. We'll finish up that evening with breakout sessions and an abundance of fellowship with the men who are walking beside you at Redeemer Church. Get to know (really know!) all the guys you see across the room on Sunday morning.
Saturday morning will start with worship, session 2, and a breakout. We'll all fill up on some brunch, and hit it again for session 3 and a breakout. We'll finish up with some closing remarks by Robin and a period of prayer, getting you out by 3:00 p.m. Saturday.
