R edeemer Church was birthed out of a desire to see an intentionally God-centered, theologically-grounded, missions-minded Southern Baptist church planted in the Fort Worth area. From November 2004 through April 2005 a small core group of like-minded people gathered to walk through the theological foundations of a church plant. Redeemer Church was “born” on the first Sunday of May 2005 when they covenanted together in church membership and worship. After outgrowing several rented meeting places, we purchased our current facilities in November 2006. The Lord has continued to bless our congregation with both spiritual and physical growth. Currently, a body of 350+ worshipers gather on Sunday mornings for Bible study and worship, as well as gather mid-week in small groups across the metroplex (Weatherford, Fort Worth, Arlington/Mid-Cities) for Bible study, prayer, biblical accountability and witness. |
