Mike joined the Council of Elders in January 2008. As a Fort Worth native, Mike graduated from TCU and, until its sale, served as president of Branch-Smith Publishing, a fourth-generation family business. He and his wife, Sherry, married in 1981 and have four grown children: Terence, Paul, Kim and Rebecca.
Since Mike and Sherry became involved in small groups in the 1970s, the desire of their hearts has continued to increase for those in this vital area of ministry. To that end, Mike serves as one of our care group leaders within Redeemer Church. Mike is also motivated with God’s desire to develop men who know and serve their Lord in church, vocational and home life. One of Mike's areas of spiritual oversight is ministry to men.
Gary Brumley | Minister of Worship (Staff)

Gary joined Redeemer Church in July 2006, after serving five years at Grace Community Church in Glen Rose, Texas. He graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 1998, with a Bachelor of Vocal Music Education. He received his Master of Arts in Worship Studies from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, in May 2004. He and his wife, Christi, married in 1995.
Gary also serves as a care group leader, and oversees much of our website, communications and missions efforts. As an extension of his ministry within Redeemer Church, Gary publishes worship songs and other worship resources at newmonikermusic.com.
He desires a God-centered approach to Redeemer’s Sunday worship gatherings, so that God’s people can joyfully express their love for God and His glory. He believes that the enjoyment of God in worship is the impetus and goal of all other ministries of the church.
Dusty Deevers | Minister of Administration (Staff)

Dusty joined Redeemer Church in January 2008. He played baseball for Oklahoma City University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He received his Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, in May 2008. He previously served on staff at SWBTS as an assistant director at the Riley Center.
He and his wife, Christina, married in 2003 and are the parents of four children: Nation (2004), Noelle (2006), Deacon (2001) and Roman (2009).
Dusty loves the local church and seeks to spend his life equipping the body of Christ to delight in Jesus. He also serves as a care group leader.
Kevin Rutledge | Minister to Students & Families (Youth & College - Staff)

Kevin joined Redeemer Church in July 2008, as minister to our families with junior high, high school and college-aged students. Kevin graduated from Dallas Baptist University with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies in 2001. He is in the process of completing his thesis toward his Master of Theology from Southwestern Seminary.
He and his wife, Sundi, were married in 1999 and have been blessed with three children: Ryleigh (2006), Zander (2007) and Lily (2009).
Wayne Spray | Elder

Wayne joined the Council of Elders in January 2008. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington with a Math/Computer Science degree. He has worked in various areas of software development for the last 25+ years. He currently works for a local aerospace company.
Wayne and his wife, Sheri, married in 1981. They have three children: Jeremy, Melinda and Victoria. Wayne and Sheri have been involved in various ministries in the local church as their children have progressed through them. These include: nursery, teaching Sunday school, children’s ministry, youth ministry, AWANA, VBS and various mission trips.
Wayne would like to see God's Word taught and lived as we all grow in the knowledge of our Lord and His grace! He also serves as a care group leader.
Dale Stonecipher | Elder

Dale was one of the original elders. He and his wife, Julia, have lived in the Fort Worth area for many years and have three grown children who live in DFW. Dale served in the Air Force before settling in here. He is a physical therapist by profession. Before coming to Redeemer Church, Dale served as the young married Sunday school teacher in another SBC church in Fort Worth and later spent several years at a local church plant.
Dale has a passion for Christ's body, the Church, and for small group ministry. To that end, he leads a care group.
Kevin Walker | Elder

Kevin joined the Council of Elders in January 2008. He received his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from North Texas State University and is a Senior Manager of Integrated Scheduling at a local aerospace company.
He married Marty Tristan in 1987, and they have been blessed with three children: Timothy (1990), Nathan (1993) and Elisa (1996).
The Walkers have ministered together in Fort Worth area churches over the last two decades. They have taught youth and children’s Sunday school, participated in church music programs, as well as mission trips working on church construction projects. Kevin presently serves as a care group leader and occasionally sings with the worship team. One of Kevin's areas of spiritual oversight is ministry to students.
Kevin and Marty have a heart to see our church grow in grace through attentiveness to the Word of God, living out the one-anothers of Scripture and experiencing sincere Christian fellowship.
